Making progress.

Just a quick update (my daughter informs me that I write too much!) on the Mighty Samurai.

I feel like I have made some progress!

Just taking it off the frame to take a picture made me realize just how much I have done! I think sometimes we get so engrossed in the part that we are working on that we forget to look at the whole thing. I still have lots of stitching to do to complete it - and the dreaded back stitch (can't  you hear the complaints already?!!)

Here's what it looks like today.

So all in all, feeling lots better about this project and, finally, itching to stitch!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and a big thank you to those of you who leave comments - much appreciated!

Until next time...happy stitching.

Rhona

Tell your daughter we love hearing about all your projects, and when you are stitching bigger ones the do take up loads of time and blog space. I love your mighty samurai.

I would say that you have gotten a lot done - great work. It is going to be an amazing piece when it is done.

Wow! You have made some great progress on your Samurai. I wish I had the patience to stitch something that size. I have had my eye on some Nora Corbett designs. Seeing your work makes me want to jump in with both feet and give it a go.

You have done an incredible job of stitching "The Mighty Samurai"! This will indeed be an "heirloom masterpiece" when it is finished!
