Oh my! Busy, busy, busy.

The old saying of ‘If you want something done ask a busy person’ (or words to that effect) are so true. I really must learn to say no…..but I find it so hard.

“Can you bake this for me?”….. “Sure!”

“Can you make this for me?”… “Of course!”

“Could you pick this up for me at the store?”… “absolutely.”

“Could you help me with this”… “No problem”

I feel like I am the proverbial (but polite version)  blue bottomed fly! And as if I’m not busy enough, I have signed up for an on-line class…crazy, I know, but it seemed a good idea at the time! So my bedtime reading will now be The Iliad and The Odyssey -  oh well, at least there should be no problems of getting off to sleep! Haha! My plan for this weekend is to get myself organized (I know, you've heard that one before!) and catch up with replying to all those lovely comments you leave for me as well as reading all your lovely blogs and leaving comments for you too. Then it will be down to the nitty-gritty and getting school work done on time.

So on to the stitching news. I’m a totally behind with the secret stitching…I knew I was cutting it a bit fine time-wise, but the whole plan was turned upside down when the recipient came to visit for the weekend! Arghhh.  (Ooops, she probably knows who she is now) Bigger arghhh!!!

Instead of the secret stitching I did manage to put a few more stitches into Life’s Simple Treasures. This was where I was last time I showed you…

And this is it now…

Here's a close up of the sun...

Now if only the sun could be shining like that in real life instead of the horrible white snowflakes we have just at the moment!

Have a great weekend.

Until next time...happy stitching!

For being so busy, your sun look great! Maybe you should get busy again? I wonder if that would work for me?!

great progress on your sun :D much better than the cold snow! good luck on your secret stitching.

I went looking for your website the other day to look at penguins and it wasn't there. I'm not sure if that is meant to be or not?

Life's Simple Treasures looks wonderful! I love the close-up of the sun, even though I have plenty of sun right now. It's 93 degrees as I'm typing this comment!
