Another tea block....

....this time, it's green tea.  Not my favourite tea....in fact, if truth be told,  I can't stand green tea but it does looks good in cross stitch!

I now only have three more blocks to do then the sampler is complete! Who would have guessed that I (probably the world's slowest stitcher) could complete a sampler this quickly! Hope I haven't jinxed myself by saying that :)

Not only did I complete the tea block, but I started one of the little free kits that comes with the World of Cross Stitching magazine.  I love these little kits as they are  quite quick to stitch and come with a pre-printed card and envelope......nice and easy.....usually!

But this time......

....it looks like someone was having a bad day when they cut the aperture for the card!

Guess I'll have to get out the card blanks and do some paper crafting....after the stitching is completed, of course!!!

Hope you're having a better day then whoever did the card aperture!

Until next time....happy stitching!

Perhaps the cutter has a quirky sense of humour. :)
The penguin is adorable and I do love your tea blocks.

Perhaps it's not a penguin, lol. :)

Another cute finish Rhona. Would you be interested in selling the chart when your done?

Love your tea block finish. Good luck with the last 3. LOL about your card cutout. Oops. I'm sure you will do a much better job on it.

Green tea may not be a favorite but it sure is healthy.
Lovely finish. So many stitchers have complained about the wrong card for this particular free kit on the magazine facebook page. The company is kindly sending a correct one.May be you request a new one?

Lovely tea block finish and the card is cute ! Poor card cutter. May be you can cut the aperture a bit more and evenly, it has got a nice background to use.

I join you for the green tea... I really really do not like that one at all!!! Apparently it is one of the best one to drink if you're into healthy stuff ;)
Sweet little finish too!!

Your green tea looks good, I prefer mine flavoured if I'm having it.
The penguin is cute, maybe he slipped on the snow/ice?!

Not a fan of green tea either but that's a lovely block. You are really motoring with this one!
Maybe the penguin fell over?! I wonder if they're all like this or you just got a bad one?

That's so funny! The cards obviously went into the cutting machine upside down.
Nice work on the tea Sampler.

Haha it took me a while to figure out what I was seeing! I love the finishes :) I love green tea too...but only fruit flavored and only if it's iced (the only tea I drink)
