....not much, but hey-ho...progress is progress no matter how small!
I'd also like to introduce you to a new blogger who's desperately needing some help.....my daughter Eirinn. As part of her course at uni she's doing a class about objects and she's chosen to study the superstitions about objects....you know the kind of things like not walking under a ladder, not opening an umbrella indoors etc. Anyway, she's looking to collect different superstitions (they can be about absolutely anything!) from around the world so I'm hoping that some of my lovely readers might be able to help her out and post some comments on her blog. Any superstitions you know of would be a help to her, you don't have to know the meaning or origins of them, just what you can or can't do....if that makes sense!.You can get to her blog here. Any help you can give her will be greatly appreciated especially as she will be graded on this project! Thank you for any help you can give her.
You can still get your copy of the free penguin chart (last day to get it is April 30th 2013)...if you would like to receive your copy of the chart please go here.
Until next time...happy stitching!
Rhona

Yep, seing your progress it reminds me I should go back and work on mine! :D I haven't touched this one for months!!!
Your WIP is looking great! I'll visit your DD's blog.
I did the same thing! I think there are times I just don't wanna stitch and, once I've stopped, it takes a while to get my mojo back!
It's looking really good Rhona! I agree progress is progress. As for superstitions, I don't believe in them really. Hopefully she will get some great ideas though!
Wow it is looking so pretty..well done
Hugs x
i do love watching simple treasures come to life, the colours are so yummy! as for superstitions lol! i live in Taiwan and Asians have many many superstitions - too many! i will leave you with one before i go to your daughters blog - in the hospitals here you will not find a level 4 so the number of floors will go 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 etc- why? because 4 in chinese is pronounced si and dead or death is also prounced as si even though the written chinese character is different - however better not take any chances, right?
a stitch is a stitch and simple treasures is well progressing =)
it's beautiful
I'm going to have a look at your daughter's blog and see if I can help =)
Will ask my grandma =D
xxxx
A stitch is a stitch :) your WIP is looking good.
Thank you for my penguin - he is so cute ;)
Will go and visit your DD's blog right now as I have a silly superstition for her
xx
I love seeing your updates on this.x
Some stitching is better than no stitching.
Thank you for the penguin chart!! I also saw your Russian dolls in the world of cross stitching magazine , June 2013 issue. They are lovely, I am going to make all of them:) I downloaded the digital issue on my iPad couple of days back. This is my first cross stitch magazine purchase else I had only books. I found this more cost effective than getting the hard copy shipped to India.
I also visited Eirinn's blog and listed some superstitions. Hope she finds something useful from those:)
That looks great so far, can't wait to see you finish it!
Heading over to your DD's...
Really like this project! Very pretty.
