Feeling the blues....

....and loving them! The blue variegated thread is looking wonderful on the Peppermint Purple SAL......

...shame the blue aida isn't showing up as blue though!  Here's a close up of all those wonderful  blackwork designs....

You can find the Peppermint Purple SAL on Facebook if you want to join in.....anyone else doing it?

Winter's Lace hasn't been neglected this week either, although there hasn't been as much progress as I would have liked. Life has a habit of interrupting our stitching time.  But each length of thread stitched means I'm a bit closer to being finished, so I can't complain....

....it's really taking shape.

Until next time.....happy stitching!

The blackwork is looking great! You made a good choice of thread there.

The fabric looks blue on my screen! I'm also doing this SAL, but I haven't done part 7 yet, because I have something else that's close to a finish on my floor stand. Click on my name to see my blog.

Rhona, I am so impressed with all you have done on Winter's Lace. It's such a complicated and detailed stitch, you should be proud, it is so beautiful and realistic looking. I love it!

Lovely blackwork Rhona! I haven't done any blackwork for a while but it's so satisfying making those little stitches to form the pattern...and the blue thread is looking lovely. And your amazing Winter's Lace really is coming along! Have a great weekend. XXX

Gorgeous! And to think back to when you finished the swallows you never wanted to see any blue again (or at least for a long time!) :)

Your SAL is coming along beautifully. I still need to choose my colours and start mine.
