It's been a while since I stitched him and made him into a card, but finally I can show it to you...
The card was for my daughter, and since she sometimes pops on here to see what her old mum has been up to, I couldn't post it until after her birthday! (Happy Birthday, Titch!)
Here's some close up pictures of the details...
The Happy Birthday 'thingy' (I haven't a clue what to call it!) was actually made from this....
...the label from a pair of jeans! I just changed the string to the thread that was left over from the kit, gave it a couple of coats of pink paint and added a stick-on greeting! Easy-peasy!!!
I'm really pleased with the way the card turned out. I'm not usually one for stitching the same design twice, but I'm certainly going to keep this chart as it was fun to stitch and who knows, I may just stitch it again!
Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes, much appreciated!
Until next time...happy stitching.
Rhona

The card is lovely, and I think if you were to stitch it again you could easily change the colour scheme. You make great cards.
Super adorable card for you daughter Rhona! She will love it!! Happy Birthday to her!!
Gorgeous! The tag thingy is a great idea and finishes it off lovely :-)

Oh my goodness....look at the beautiful card you created! I love it!
Happy birthday to your daughter. It's a GREAT card, cute cross stitch project and wonderful how you used the label from the jeans and turned it into something so stunning. Great creation Rhona ! Ann
That's a great finish. I have done this kitty myself, but went for the simple option of just using the provided card. I had issues with picking white over light grey - they looked exactly the same. I love the reusing of the jean's label.
Hi Rhona, have just discovered your blog after reading the WOCS mag ;0). I love your designs.
Your teacup kitty card looks adorable. What a brill idea to save the jeans label. I am stitching kitty at the moment ,0)
