Is it too early to mention Christmas stitching? :)

Gosh...what a week it's been! Do you ever get those weeks when you feel like you've been really busy and don't have much to show for it? That was my week last week, but I do, thankfully, have quite a lot of pictures to show you. So what have I been working on? First off, I've been plodding on with Winter's Lace....

I feel like I have been stitching this one for ages but never really seem to make much progress...

I thought it was time for a small break and do a quick stitch to have the satisfaction of having a finish. I decided to stitch one of my own designs that had appeared in The World Of Cross Stitching  magazine a while back and seemed perfect for a warm summer evening....

Not as good as eating a real ice cream, but a lot less calories!

Just a wee bit of the ice-cream to finish and the rest of the border to do....and of course, the back stitching. I love these quick finishes....don't you?

This month's edition of Just CrossStitch arrived in the mail box with two of my design in it. First one is the summer sunflower...

...it can be stitched and framed as above, or made as a coaster ....

This edition of the magazine is also the Christmas ornament preview and my little candy cane holding gingerbread girl can be found in it .....

...and she can also be used as a place card for your Christmas dinner table with your guests name written onto a craft stick...

....how cute is that?  I'm going to have to start stitching them now so that I have them all done in time for Christmas 😃

Until next time....stay safe, stay well, and happy stitching!

I feel you on the big projects, you stitch and stotch and it seems you're not moving... I started taking a photo by the end of the day and then when i look i can see it.
And i love your gingerbread ornaments and making them as place markes is so amazing, makes it so much more meaningful and practical

The Wolf Stitch is growing, even if slowly. I love the little gingerbread girl and am looking forward to receiving my copy of the magazine!

I like to make a collage of progress photos to see how much I have stitched. The wolves are wonderful.
My subscription to JCS has finished and they refused to renew it as they won't mail to the UK. I do intend to get a digital sub at some point this year though.
Your little Gingerbread Ornie is very cute, I like how versatile it is.
